Ryan, thank you so much for linking my essay in your footnote as further reading on this so-called "self." I really appreciate it, and in fact, I enjoyed re-reading the essay myself haha!
Thanks you two for sharing this incredibly useful, beautifully written primer to IFS, and for evoking Ralph, who was a luminous ball of insight from experience. This is just such a helpful framework for relating to ourselves (and others). 💛 Looking forward to listening to Jeremy’s meditation — who’s work I love on Instagram (which sounds ridiculous as I type it, but here we are).
Wow, this is fascinating. I've had a little bit of exposure to IFS, but this description along with the four aspects of it is very illuminating. Regarding the Capital-S self, that also sounds kind of like what a neuroscientist or psychologist might describe as meta cognition, the capacity to see the self from 'outside' the self (in a healthy way).
Not sure when I'll have the time to do it, but I look forward to listening to the guided meditation. Thanks, Ryan!

Keep up the great work, Ryan!
I feel like I could use a daily reminder of the concepts you explored myself! Grateful for you.

Ha! That made me chuckle and smile 😊 Let me know how the meditation goes for you!
Thank you for these kind words, Adreanna. Sending you so much love.

I will be interested to hear what you experience if you try it, Maia! Thanks so much for coming along for the ride with us here.
