Hello Ryan,

This shift—from destiny as possession to destiny as compassion—feels like such a soulful reframe.

In yeon invites us to honor every thread, not just the ones tied in red. Beautifully said.

The concept of "Yeon" warmed my heart in such a profound way. I love that you've shared it here with us, I love and admire all the leaps you've taken in your life, and I love that by chance I stumbled on this today. Thank you so much.

Tatiana, I’m so glad that our red threads connected in this way. I so admire the bravery you show in your work as well, so this is high praise indeed. Thank you!

Like many of your friends, I was first introduced to the concept of in yeon through the movie Past Lives, which reminded me of many Buddhist concepts my family shared with me growing up. I loved learning about the red string symbolism in your post. What a great reminder to treat everyone we encounter with a sense of community and compassion

Thank you so much for sharing that, Morlene. I'd love to hear more about how this connects to what was shared in your family. Maybe you'll write about it someday :)
